House of Batteries Adds 2nd Shift to Meet Demand

With ever-growing customer demand for their products, House of Batteries has added an additional work shift their battery pack manufacturing facilities.

14 February 2013—House of Batteries, a leading manufacturer of custom power solutions for a broad spectrum of applications, has announced the addition of a second working shift in their assembly and test facilities to accommodate higher demand for their custom battery packs. Second shift operations are scheduled to begin February 18.

House of Batteries has been designing and assembling custom battery packs since 1965. Specializing in rechargeable lithium batteries chemistries, the company counts such major battery manufacturers as Panasonic, Sanyo, Samsung, Enersys, Saft, and others among their suppliers. With six electrical engineers and two mechanical engineers on staff, House of Batteries offers a high level of expertise in the design, testing, and certification of their battery packs.

House of Batteries operates assembly facilities in the United States, Mexico, and China, and stocks over two million batteries in their climate controlled warehouse in Southern California. The company is ISO certified, ITAR registered, and performs complete UN, UL, and CE testing and certification as customers require. House of Batteries is a certified Woman Owned company.
